There are many gradations of listening: listening with one’s ears, hearing sounds; and listening to inner vibrations, listening to meanings. There is listening that is beyond sound altogether.

Calendar of Work Events

Work Day Schedule and Weekly Members Meetings

The weekend group meetings at Camp Caravan begin at 7:30 a.m. and generally end at about 12:30 p.m., before lunch. Work days begin at 7:30 a.m. and usually end at about 5:00 p.m. Please check each month for the Work Day schedule, which generally take place on the second Saturday of each month.

Monthly Gurdjieff meetings

Those with some experience in the Work are invited to monthly group meetings on the first Tuesday of the month at the Campaign Office at Camp Caravan, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Fourth Way group meetings for “new” people

We currently have two active groups serving individuals who want an introduction to Gurdjieff, Bennett, and the Fourth Way. No prior experience is required.

Central Massachusetts:
We meet in Warwick, Massachusetts on Thursday evenings. For more information contact Ana Bennett at anabennett@gis.net.

Somerville, Massachusetts:
Join a group of interested people who meet in Davis Square, Somerville, MA on Tuesday evenings, at 7:30 p.m. The meetings are facilitated by George Bennett and Elan Sicroff. Inner exercises, readings, themes, discussions, and Movements are the main elements of the curriculum. Every month there is a Work day at Camp Caravan, which provides a different kind of interaction and intensity. Weekly On-Line Group Meetings

We are currently conducting a weekly on-line study group using a Webex conferencing system. Normally we meet on Wednesdays at 4:00pm EST. The main focus of the study group is an orientation to core Gurdjieff/Bennett concepts and ideas in preparation for the 2010 Intensive being held at Camp Caravan next June and July. The material we are covering is appropriate for both beginning and advanced students. You are invited to become a regular participant even if you are not attending the 2010 Intensive.
